Sodyum klorat, kimyasal formülü NaClO3 olan beyaz kristal bir tuzdur. Endüstriyel olarak çeşitli uygulamalarda kullanılan bir kimyasaldır. Sodyum klorat, tarımda bazı böcek ilaçlarının ve herbisitlerin üretiminde, tekstil sektöründe ağartıcı olarak ve patlayıcıların üretiminde kullanılmaktadır. Ayrıca havuzlarda dezenfektan olarak da kullanılabilir.
